Scandium selenate, Sc2(SeO4)3

Scandium selenate, Sc2(SeO4)3, crystallises from water in rhombic prisms of the octahydrate, Sc2(SeO4)3.8H2O. When dried at 100° the dihydrate is formed, and this is completely dehydrated at 400° (Crookes).
