Scandium sulphide, Sc2S3
Scandium sulphide, Sc2S3, is a yellow solid obtained by heating scandium sulphate in hydrogen sulphide. It is stable in air, even at 100°, but is decomposed by dilute acids or boiling water with evolution of hydrogen sulphide.
